Manta Bridge: For Ethereum Deposits, Not Cross-Chain Hunting

Manta Bridge is for moving ETH from Ethereum Mainnet to Manta Pacific Mainnet, not for universal cross-chain transfers. Use the native route when ETH starts in an Ethereum wallet; compare other providers only when assets begin elsewhere.

Ethereum Mainnet to Manta Pacific

For ETH held on Ethereum, select Ethereum Mainnet as the source and Manta Pacific Mainnet as the destination. Manta Pacific is a rollup, so transactions execute outside Ethereum layer 1 while data is posted back to it. Your wallet address stays the same, but balances are separate on each network.

Add Manta Pacific to the wallet before transferring. If a completed deposit appears as a zero balance, the wallet may still be displaying Ethereum Mainnet instead of Manta Pacific Mainnet.

Before approving, confirm the wallet holds ETH on Ethereum Mainnet, the destination explicitly says Manta Pacific Mainnet, and enough ETH remains for Ethereum gas. A pending transaction should be checked on its originating network; a failed transaction usually leaves assets in the source wallet, although gas may be spent.

Official route and live checks

Third-party services may support other origins, but their operating conditions and responsibility differ. Verify the asset, source chain, destination network, fees, and provider before using them.

The manta bridge interface shows the selected route, supported asset view, wallet connection, and deposit or withdrawal controls. Check those live fields before sending because availability and fees can change.
